Alternate Title: To Heart ~Remember My Memories~ Studio: AIC ASTA Year: 2004 Length: 13 Episodes Genre: Drama, Romance Opening Song: 大好きだよ / Daisuki dayo / Into Your Heart Ending Song: それぞれの未来(あした)へ / Sorezore no Ashita e / To Each and Every Tomorrow
To Heart ~Remember My Memories~ (TH RMM) is the Sequel to the series To Heart that being produce on the year 1999. Yup it actually took AIC ASTA (Studio) 4+ years to come out with the 2nd season which ends the magnificent adventure of the series To Heart.
This time, we got more serious story plot compare to its Prequel and of course we get to see more progress between our Hero and Heroine relationship. They’re 12th graders now, yup! It means that they grown up and mature in their own way. Thus, it marks a new season of the story.
It seems to me that even in this new season, we still feel and breath the same air and atmosphere of the previous Peace Loving - To Heart. Yup… TH RMM is another ordinary school life story pack with nothing but boring and peaceful life of our former hero Hiroyuki and heroine Akari, as well as our Mascot, Multi!! and their friends!
There is not much difference comparing the 1st season and this season accept for some improvements such as the artwork and animation quality. The animation was much brighter and colorful compare with its sequel. Other than that, we get to see some character’s personality changed and the romance part of the story is much more seriously developed and we could see jealousy breaking up the bond of friendships. Things start to get complicated but somehow it still manages to stay at the “safe level”. (The level where you don’t require thinking and just watch!)
The climax is rather suspense and thrilling. However the ending is really sweet. Well, I do have 1 or 2 drops of tear flowing down my cheek… ahem… while watching the ending part, I was really moved then... do take note that TH RMM concentrate more on Multi and Akari since both of them is the main character. I can never ask for more since it ended up so well.
The Music stays the same and gives the audience the nostalgic feeling of watching To Heart and of course, I was fully satisfied with this season again. If you watched the 1st season, then you must never miss out TH RMM since it is the ending of To Heart series. If you have no idea what this title is all about and you’re a Romance anime fan, go watch the 1st season and then continue with this season, I bet you won’t regretted it!
